We are moving all of our web hosting clients to new, carbon neutral hosting plans. You can read more about our decision here. If you decide to stay with us for web hosting, your site will be hosted by Nimbus Hosting who’s commitment to using renewable energy in their office, and everyday life – as well as their web servers – is impressive. It means a couple of things for you. Firstly, we need to move your website to a new server with the minimum of disruption … we’ll be migrating all the website content and emails to the new servers and then putting the site live whenever we’re ready. We have been in touch to give details of what is required to make that as smooth as possible.
Secondly, it means our hosting prices are going up. Unfortunately, the new servers and their commitment to green energy mean we need to increase our prices. I’m hoping you find it fair – most of our prices have stayed the same for the past 10 years, but of course, you do not have to host your website with us. You are very welcome to arrange your own hosting and I would be happy to recommend providers that you can talk to.
